The black circles are connector areas on my system where power wires are connected to. The wires are connected in a way that the "H","N","NO",and "C" are attached to them. What do those letters mean?

H = Hot = live wire (black)
N = Neutral = neutral supply (white)
NO and C and NC are relay contacts
NO = normally open
C = common
NC = normally closed
So if you want current to flow in "not active" mode, connect to
C and NC, and if you want current to flow in "active" mode, connect to C and NO.

h on input side is "hot" --- n on input side is " neutral"
no on output side is "normally open"
c is "common"
nc is "normally closed"
