Go to a doctor for antibiotics. If you don't treat a UTI, it will become a bladder or kidney infection, and that can kill you. Don't take chances with your health like that.

Drinking water and cranberry juice can help to prevent UTIs, but it will not get rid of them. You need to see a doctor.

I never even had one, knowingly, until recently and it was a bladder infection.I kept putting it off to go to Doc,because i did not know any better because i had always heard of otc meds and such would help.NOT! This thing gradually put me back,it hurt and I had to wait in Dr office on the side of the couch in pain!!I even had an appt, but seemed to have to wait even longer.Do not wait to go to Dr.At least if you go now, when the big one hits, you may have easier access to get{relief}.!
