Okay i've hade my pokemon gold for a while and it was pre owned (the promenade mall in Tulsa,OK EBgames between 2000 and 2004) and it will not keep a saved game it worked fine then i put it in and pow it tells me that the game was saved but i turn it off then on and it does'nt say "continue" just "new game" and "options" please help!!

The battery for it might just be dead. Yout find instructions online on how to replace it. Or you can just get a new one.

i have a couple of those pokemon games
and my emerald did the same thing
and guess what i did
