It seems to upset some when the common folks get to keep more of their money instead of losing it to those already rich. They like it when the rich get richer and the poor get less and less. If it were a matter of honor and dignity we wouldn't be in the great mess we are in today in this country. We are spending money we don't have and those with stock in the military industries are raking it in. So much for trickle down economics.

When things are going good nobody appreciates it at the time. Republicans were too busy bellyachin' about him getting blowjobs at break time to really appreciate how good things were.
Also, when gas prices did get high under Clinton, he authorized the release of some of our oil reserves to drive the price back down. Because Clinton understood the common man better, he knew that higher gas prices would hurt lower income families. He knew because he grew up poor. Unlike the current doofus in
charge who is out of touch with the common man. Just because he talks and acts common doesn't mean he grew up common.
I'd rather have an economy that's better for EVERYBODY and a president who get's a little on the side than an economy that's better for the rich and powerful and a president who is an out of touch doofus who won't lift a hand for anybody.

1) The President doesn't control the price of oil.
2) The Clinton uproar was due to the nonstop, endless river of sleeze and corruption that flowed from the Clintons.
3) You really think there's no discussion and complaining about the price of oil now? Really? You living in a cave?

Clinton was never convicted of anything . Republicans spent over 50 million trying to , ( Star ) as for Oil Bush could repeal the tax break . Given to oil company's . as well as just stand up to them and say something like . Find a way to lower fuel costs or I will challenge congress for a tax increase for large corporations showing large profits . To help disaster stricken areas . Just a suggestion..

not so much hollering???? Where have you been? People everywhere are complaining...
But those who do contradict themselves...
in '04 the big rumor was that for Bush's October Surprise he was going to drastically reduce the price of gas, because he was "in bed with the Saudi's"...well, that didn't happen, and now gas is even more expensive..and this is his fault as well. The man can't catch a break with some people for nothing. That said...I think it stinks paying 3.00 per gallon.....

I agree with you.
I'm paying out $60 everytime I fill up, comes to about $320 a month. Plus everything else is going up too. A $20 bill spends like it's $5 now...

Well, when I had an oil well it was at 11.00 a barrel so if I had that well now I'd be well off! AND THAT WAS when President Clinton was in office!

Next time you put your head up your a$$, leave the ears out so that you can hear. The press has been 'hollaring' [sic] about it every day for months.

For one thing, the president (whoever that may be), does not set oil prices. Prices are set by the market.
