There are very few redheads, so the chance that one redhead will meet another with whom they have chemistry is slim. I've only met a few red-haired men, so it's less likely that I would have dated one (although, to be honest, I prefer brown hair on men, but red is OK too). It's just because we're spread few and far between. There are probably more red-red couples in Scotland and Ireland, because they have more redheads there than we do in the States.

I was a red head growing up, but my hair turned brown around the age of 16. I didn't want to date a red head boy ( And I know this may sound very shallow ) because the fear of having red head children. I was bullied almost every day because of my auburn/red hair, and wouldn't want that for any of my children. In saying that, some of my partners side of the family has ginger hair ( his hair is brown though ) and both my daughters are Blonde turning brown lol.
