Are you near your due date?
Just the best you can. There isn't a way.
The last month was hard on me both times. But the rest of the time I couldn't stay awake.
Just eat a little something before bed. try to get in a real cold room and daydream or watch tv until you finally fall asleep. It's hard near the end.

Oh and try not to sit there and think about having the baby and ignore the kicking.

It's usually because your body is focusing on making a baby and all the things that your body is used to gets put on hold... If you are not showing yet, your body will let you know when to sleep. For me, it was All The Time! A body pillow can be your best friend, along with a pedicure from time to time.

i have some sugestions that may help you....sometimes they helped me....

*get a massage an hour before bed time

*do low-impact aerobic exercise 4 hours before bedtime

*drink warm decaf tea at bed time

*sleep on your right side...put a pillow between your legs (so that your hip aligns with your sholder)

*warm milk at bed time

*sleep alone

Because your body is working overtime to support you and a baby in your tummy. You are very restless, and getting comfortable is another story.

What I did: Take it where you can get it. If you are sleepy at three thirty in the afternoon, take that nap! You'll be thankful for it later!

Good luck!! :)

That is easy! you are uncomforatble because your belly is growing, and baby may be pressed up against you. Try putting a pillow between your legs and sleeping on your left side. It worked for me.
