HELP!!! im goin on a 12-14 hr trip but im not driving but i need some suggestions as 2 wat 2 do on the ride.?

I have a list of things you could try:
1. bring cd player and listen to cds
2. if you have a gameboy, play it
3. if you have a cell phone, talk on it
4. take a few good books with you and read them\
5. take paper and pen and draw
6. begin to write a story or book
7. sleep
8.play spot the car
9. flirt w/ semi truck drivers
10.if you have a laptop, watch a dvd on it (you can plug the battery in the cig lighter if you have the proper fitting)
11. bring a friend
12.re-organize photo album
13. make a new phone/ address book
14. annoy eveyone else in the car
15. stare out the window in a daze

Books on tape are fun. Go to any Cracker Barrel, rent a book on tape (they have a bunch of them), then when you're finished just drop it off at the next Cracker Barrel you come to. Relatively inexpensive fun.

If you're eventually returning to where you started try the local library. There's a whole slew of books on tape and they only cost a library card! Much cheaper than a DVD, especially if you don't have a DVD player for the car.

Of course you can always bring a book to read. This usually makes me car-sick.

One other option would be to play traveller's bingo. Cheap fun if you're travelling with someone else who is not driving.

Sleeping also makes the time go by fast.

Don't forget some good munchies.

Reading, cd player, the radio for some current music or news, have a good conversation with other people near you, sleep, or just look out the window(usually thats what I do, but for like long trips I have my ipod and then I will fall asleep)

read, listen to music, listen to books on tape, listen to how to speak Spanish on CD or tape, crochet, bring an Etch-a-sketch; if you don't have a PSP or Game Boy, buy a few cheap hand-held video games like Tetris, Connect Four, Sudoku, poker. write letters, poetry. if you're in a car with other people, do sing-a-longs, name that tune, Mad Libs, name something you see that starts with an A, then the next person names something they see that starts with a B, etc; bring a Magna Doodle and play pictionary.

Don't forget to stand up and stretch your legs every few hours so you don't get blood clots in your legs.
