The only straight man I have ever seen wear an anklet (and this was many years ago) was a surfer guy who had one of those hempy/beaded anklets. It looked okay on him - but mostly because he was a surfer and it fit his look.
If I saw a man with anaklet on walking around I would probably wonder why in the world he was wearing it.

I dont think that sexuality has anything to do with jewelry. I sell jewelry for a living .Because some men are in high power positions that dont allow them to wear jewelry so in order for them to still be able to pay the bills and keep their job and to still be true to themselves they wear an anklet that they can hide.

I badly sprained my ankle about 3 weeks ago. I was in a hurry going down the stairs, lost my balance and landed on a bad side of my left foot, causing my left ankle to be stretched going on the inside. The first 48 hours were excruciating and the pain was un-believable. I've never had a serious ankle injury before.
So I immediately treated it using the RICE method. The following day, the bruising and swelling were so horrible. I found out that I got a second degree sprain and immediately panicked after that. I had a football game on that week and it been looking forward to it because I've been training for rt. I had teammates that had similar injuries and it took them months to fully recover, some of them stopped playing altogether. So I kinda had a short-term depression because I can't imagine myself not being able to run and play sports anymore.
Because I was so desperate to recover again, I contacted a lot of people that I know who do sports and asked them if they had similar injuries. One friend of mine, from the boy's football team in my university, told me about H.E.M. Ankle Rehab. I got a copy 4 days after I got injured. I immediately read and followed what was instructed and felt improvement on the first day. I was able to walk a bit, but I was in pain.
A couple of days after that, the swelling and bruising were subsid-ing significantly and on the fourth day, I was walking comfortably again. Although I've had felt a bit of stiffness, I continued doing what was instructed. My sister was surprised that I have recovered this fast. I told her about this book and was shocked on how effective the procedures were. I'm just so happy that this book was shared to me and how effective it is.
Heal your ankle fully & fast?

Anklets made of natural or synthetic fibers are 'surf punk' cool. A lot of surfers, when they're in the water, attach a surfboard tether to their ankles using a velcro ankle strap. As we all know, anything surfers wear is cool. For years, swimming pool locker-keys had elastic bands that allowed you to slip them onto your ankle to prevent you from losing them. I seem to remember a couple of guys who wore those old, white, braided 'friendship' bracelets (the ones that you immersed in hot water to shrink them to your size - the ones that you left on until they turned gray!) on their ankles - just to be different. I used to wear bandannas around my ankle...for no particular reason - just liked the way it looked. Currently, the only 'gay identified' accessories incorporate rainbow motifs, lambda symbols or pink triangles in their design.

I have only seen Indian Men, and African Warriors, wear them they are symbols in their respective countries. As for here in America, I think it is just another piece of fashion like ear-rings and lip and brow piercings. Maybe im to old to know if there is a hidden reason ...

Some men just like them for fashion. I happen to like toe rings for fashion. Jewelry is unisex, can be worn by either sex.
