Judging from the caliber of the questions I have seen, most questioners seem to be bored pre-teens. Are there any adults of moderate to high intelligence who use this site?

I'm an adult of moderate to high intelligence, but the only question I could come up with was the caliber of a bored pre-teen lol, but I really needed the help, so thank you everybody who helped, but I do hear you about the questions...It still has me very entertained when I'm bored.

Oh how I hate to give intelligence levels so I'll just say I'm 48 and have my masters so I guess you can tell I was obviously smart enough to get that far in college. Gave up professional career to care for elderly grandmother with no regrets but do find myself needing something to do with myself as she naps several times a day and goes to bed very early. I've enjoyed the site - even given, as you say, the "caliber" of the questions. Liked the way you thoughtfully worded that. I keep telling myself I won't grow old if I periodically feed that inner child but have to admit sometimes I can't help but giggle and be thankful that I've gone beyond where some of these kids are coming from.

I would guess that I am semi-intelligent (or least I have my moments). I am an adult (college educated) who has been in the work force for about 20 years. I too think that there are a lot of bored teens using this site but some of their questions give me a little insight to what young people are thinking about these days. (Sometimes it's a little bit frightening, don't you think?!?) I try to think of this site as a big party that everyone from everywhere is invited. Hope to talk to you again. Thanks!

It is not easy to tell unless you divide by categories. The philosophy section requires some thinking behind the question. So is the cultural or social science. Relationships section. appears to abound with teens inquisitions. The repetitive questions on sex can make someone wonder: is sex everything in life?

I'm not really sure the average age but in some responses to the questions I have asked, some have revealed they are ten years old.
