It seems to be in fashion and I see it a lot in movies (like Budd from Kill Bill vol. 2). I want to get one, but not if it has some kind of negative symbolic meaning.

I believe it's one of the many small, necessary items that came in survival kits that soldiers used to wear aroung their neck with their dog tags... mostly during the Nam, I think... The razorblade probably stuck because it's more marketable than say, a snake poison kit or portable tp... also, if someone was captured they could easily put the razor in a hidden place for their advantage... although, now it's customary to check a person's mouth and other cavities for possible contraband...

extremely i do no longer likee th eidea of killing your self.... RAZORBLADE NECKLACe is sooo no longer a reliable element reducing your thorat doesnt make you cool... there are pshychiatrists for melancholy no longer painful neckalces
