I interviewed with a company on the 28th. They called me the next day and said hey you got the job blah blah how much do you want...I negotiated with them and the regional director said she had to get the amount approved would call me back. That was on Thursday the 29th ....Still nothing yet. I even emailed her today at 2pm..nothing...They offered me the job, I didnt say no...Is it just the holidays?

Could be, a lot of companies are shut down today (monday) and a lot of people took off Friday or Monday or both. It could be that they can't get ahold of the right people to get the approvals. I would wait until Thursday then give the person a call for an update on the situation.

More than likely is the Holidays. If there's a next time... make sure you get the offer in writing. When they ask you how much do you want to earn (salary requirements), dont' disclose that right away. Ask what's the salary range for this position. it might be more than what you wanted. Good Luck!
