I did not know what I wanted to do, either.
I went away to college right out of High School and majored in Psychology because I knew I wanted to help people. I also was trying to solve my own issues, and ultimately wound up miserable.
At 19 I dropped out of college and worked as a receptionist. When one of those jobs let me go, I decided to go back to school, because I knew the older I got, the less likely I would ever finish.
So I enrolled in my local community college and transferred my credits from the four-year school. I just majored in Liberal Arts, knowing that it would get me the "core curriculum" classes required for most majors.
One elective I took was in Voice and Diction, and for some reason I was a natural at Phonetics. When I graduated with my Associates, I transferred those credits to a State College and majored in Speech Pathology. It didn't take more than a couple weeks to realize that it wasn't the best field for me, because I'm not good with language or creative at coming up with new therapy plans to keep the patients motivated from one session to another. But I had no other ideas, so I stuck with it.
Then the second semester, I took the required course about Hearing Science - Audiology. I knew immediately that I had found what I wanted to do. I was almost 23 at that point. I finished my Bachelor's and continued to get the required Master's. That was 14 years ago, and I still love what I do!
So don't give up hope, just look into things that interest you and keep your eyes and options open. You'll find your calling in due time.

Hey, there is no set answer to these questions. I'm 40 and am not entirely sure what I want from life. So far, I've just bumbled along and life has been just dandy, a real ball. Some people just aren't cut out for 12 point programmes or career development goals or the rest of that crap. Just roll with it...

No. I think you should know by now. Because then it will be too late and you will be too old then. So its good to know now. Im almost 19 and I know what I want to do. But you can always change your idea.

Workwise: what do you like to do most of all in life? What would you do for no money because you like it so much? The root is in the answer to that question. And obviously it can't be "sleep" or something like that.

Get out and have sex, date, and drink.
Then you will know what you want.
I don't mean that rude, but maybe you need to see what you don't want first.
Call me!!?
