Turtle eggs are easy to hatch if you know what you're doing.
Sitting on them will kill them.
An easy way to hatch them is :
Find a plastic bowl with a top.
Soak some paper towels in non-chlorinated water. Squeeze out the excess water.
Place some of the crumpled paper towels in the bottom of the bowl. Gently place the eggs on top of the paper towels. Place another moist paper towel over the eggs.
Loosely place the top of the bowl on.
Keep the eggs inside your house - warm but not too warm.
Wait.
If you are lucky you will see some baby turtles after some time (time varies)

You should have left them where you found them however.

Good luck

Dont sit them. They will break. Theyre not there for you to sit on. A turtles weight is much less than yours so you cant sit on it. It will break and the babies will die.

If you mean by "sitting on them" watching, then you just leave it outside. It hatches by itself. Unless you brought it in to watch it hatch. Just leave it alone. bury it in a bushy plant.
