My roomate is a big Jupiter trumpet fan, personally I am a Bach Strad fan, but he bought himself a Jupiter pocket trumpet. He loves it, I love it. If you have the money, why not!

hi at a loss for words... the type of trumpet you play could be determined through the type of music and the reason you're playing trumpet. A Pocket trumpet receives similar sound to an ordinary trumpet, yet received't be as finished or undertaking as well. it really is not often utilized in ensemble playing (e.g., band, orchestra), yet is mostly a solo device (small team, e.g.). even if - it really is smaller, and regularly having a smaller horn, protecting it close, it type of feels extra part of your body, and this would psychologically carry about extra acceptable playing, if in straightforward words because of concentration and body of options. if you're making plans on playing in a larger ensemble with different trumpets, I advise getting a widely used B-Flat trumpet.
