I'm NOT !!! But then again I'm not a GIRL I'm a WOMAN . Your either looking in the wrong places or attracting the wrong ones. Don't make it seem like all of them are cause there not. It's like saying ALL BOYS/MEN are dogs

I don't know that I've noticed any particular change since I was a girl (30 years ago or so :>). I remember thinking boys were terribly superficial back when I was just out of college (20 years ago). So I don't think girls are 'the problem'. Nor do I think it's 'the system', because it's possible to escape from 'the system'. I did it. Still managing to stay out of the box at 42, and counting.

Because men are superficial, and the media is portraying "hunky" guys more and more often on tv. The same thing happens to boys. "why be with him/her if there's guys/girls like what the media portrays?" Girls are superficial. Women are for real. Get yourself a woman.

Of course women are more superficial -- its becase guys put up with this in order to try to get sex, and they do this b/c girls these days are willing to give sex without any thought to what they are risking / losing / diminishing.
I think that if guys acted more respectfully in thei view of women this would improve, but even more weight goes to women in this mess -- they are the ones who lost so much in the whole feminist movement and are the ones that need to get settled with a little more tradition and regain their self-honor not because we "can do whatever we wantw ith our bodies" but because we choose to be decent and honorable and women that men would be proud to work hard for.

You pose that question like you think that's a new phenomena ,or something. Marilyn told you "Diamonds are a girl's best friend" as she slept her way to the top (before the Kennedys and the mafia). Girls are just that way.

If men (in general) were into women's intelligence, women would desperately be reading and trying to become smarter. But since society judges a book by its cover, women are desperately trying to look beautiful. We are a product of our environment!

The media drownds our minds with materialistic thoughts and we feel like we have to measure up to everyone else around us. We just want to look perfect sometimes. I am trying to stop being like this.
