I think you meant "and ends up getting pregnant why...". I think why they would get an abortion is because they didn't choose to have sex, it was forced upon them. And some might think that the baby would come out looking a lot like the rapist and wouldn't be able to look at it. I think it would be better for some if they did get an abortion because some might take it out what happened to them on the baby because the baby is the end result of it and it is something that will remind her everyday of what happened to her. This never happened to me but I can't say what I would do in that situation, it is a very tough one.

If a woman is raped and becomes pregnant, it should be her choice whether or not she wants to raise a child that she did not plan for. Babies are expensive and take a lot of work, and it is a hard job even for people who want to have children at that point in time. For a woman who was forced to have sex, a child is probably not something she can deal with because of her age, her financial situation, her home life, etc. Besides, that baby will not be a product of love, but rather of an act committed to her against her will.

Because why would they want to be reminded of being raped! Why else? It only makes sense. Why on earth would you want to keep that baby, even want to give birth to it? I think abortion is fine as long as you do it early in pregnancy, not when the baby can feel pain. As crude as this might sound, if you hold the power to create life, oyu should have the power to take it - but like I said, very early in the pregnancy!

Ok just to help you out what you meant to say was "When a women gets raped and ends up getting pregnant"
And though I can not honestly give you the reason for that I can give you my opinion. And that is that they are trying to hide from the pain and feelings they are having (yes I have been through it I know what they are) and they think by getting rid of the baby they are making it all go away.
However it doesnt heal their problems and in some cases it just makes them worse.

I do believe that its a tragic situation, but i also do not believe in abortion..You always have a choice of adoption, you wouldn't be pregnant if it was not suppose to happen. God has a plan for everyone, even though it would be rough you need to think about the child. It is innocent and it should not be punished for anothers wrong doing..

Eventually they do- they more they have sex, the faster she gets pregnant. Why it happens?
Some times it's the man's fault. He might be overly drunk. Or he might be depressed and angry, which would possibly be her fault, but the rape is still his. But that's sexual rape. When it comes to spanking, it's often the girl's fault- especially if she's done some things she shouldn't have done.

Maybe because they can't go through life facing a child that brings back such bad memories.

Tell you what- wait ten years, after this experience has happened to you or one of your close friends. (Unless you're very lucky, it will.) I promise, you'll spend so many hours in painful, tearful conversation you will never, ever again feel you have to raise this question.
