I like all those punk bands

Green Day (i like both old and new), System of a Down, Three Days Grace, AFI........ hrm well i dunno if they are oldies but these ones are def. punk: Generation X, the Decendants, the Clash
Queen (when Freddie Mercury was still in it) is awesome too.
i have no favorite they are all awesome and it'd take me forever to type even half. those are just what came to my mind. there is a few bands that i dont' like though, like fallout boy... no offense but they are a bit of a rip-off and now the entire emoish-punkish-rock is ruined cause everyone wants to be just like them.

I'm afraid that all the best bands are oldies so I cant really answer this question.
By the way one of my favorite bands is Queen and Freddie Mercury isn`t going to be beat by any of this modern rubbish.

The best band of all time is either the Beatles or Led Zeppelin... punk is alright and all, but it doesnt hold a candle to those bands. They are simply the best

Sorry, if you want to listen to Punk, you'll have to listen to oldies. No band calling itself punk today even comes close.

Dresden Dolls, Bouncing Souls, Rise Against, and a band called Alcohol.

R.E.M. isn't too old. I like Pink Floyd alot too, but they're from like 20 yrs ago if that's what you mean by "oldies". The old bands are the best though...

The only punk I know is Black Flag, Iggy Pop, the Clash, and of course the Sex Pistols! There isn't any punk out there now - just wanna be's.
