I am NOT a DR so make sure to check with yours but I get hives really bad all the time cause I have SUPER sensitiev skin, so sometimes just stress causes me to break out. And I am also getting heat rash every now and again (i live in CA in the desert 30wks preg) My DR okayed Benadryll for those things. All it does is block the hystamen (however its spelled) and thats the stuff that makes you itch, so its okay for baby. Unless you have a high risk pregnancy it should be fine. But like I said check with DR or the pharmacy. There are always those old reliable remedys, oatmeal in your bath water. I keep a cool tub full of water all day all most so I can pop in whenever I want to w/o wasting water or waiting for a refill.

Hydrocortisone cream will stop the itching. Using corn starch might help with perspiration & friction from clothing if its on your body. Keep fabrics off of it if possible & take cool baths. Do NOT use anything like vaseline. That will seal the rash and make it worse. Main thing is too keep it cool and let it breathe. A heat rash itches when the bumps that form on it burst.

it might not be a heat rash...if it doesn't go away by morning, call your OB. For a heat rash, Try some of that diaper ointment (any brand but I like Boudreaux's buttpaste) that usually helps. My kids are big but I still keep it around for various rashes

I had the same problem when I was pregnant with my daughter in the summer time. I used baby powder with corn starch in it, not just regular powder, but the corn starch version. It worked well.
Also, try calamine lotion. The only problem with that is it leaves pink residue on you- so you might not want to leave the house.
Hope this helps :-)

Try a nice lukewarm milk or oatmeal bath. Aveeno makes some great bath products for itchy and dry skin and such and they're all natural so you're 100% safe with baby! And they feel great!!!
