Capitalism is all about encouraging business people/entrepreneurs to work as hard as they can to make money. To do that, they must pay people to support and help their efforts. So, in turn, those below them make money they wouldn't have been able to do otherwise. These subordinates make money and as they do so, they enable themselves to rise higher and higher and thus support those below them. And so it goes. Capitalism enables people to rise higher and higher and carry people below them along the way.
So, no, it is not a lie...it is a wonderful way for empowered people to excel.

This is true, but other systems, such as socialism or communism aren't the answer either. Actually the 'answer' hasn't been discovered yet...or at least not tested and tried. But I guarantee when what WORKS is found, it'll be something we can barely even imagine.

Valve or value? Personally, I see it working well every day I don't have to stand in line to buy essential goods. How many other systems can boast of plenty to be had?

Actually, it's a giant, humongous Ponzi scheme. A pyramid scheme so large that it will take centuries to collapse. On the other hand, hard work and real value will always exist.
