i didnt make my last question very clear... sorry!!!...my friend had a c section 7 weeks ago. she has had sex around 16 times since then and almost all times her man has ejaculated inside her (stupid, i know) she took 2 pregnancy tests yesterday just to check and thought for sure shed be pregnant but they both turned out negative. plus she got her first period. how is this even possible!!! when they got pregnant the first time they even had unprotected sex!!! she is worried because they have had sex so much without getting pregnant that she may be infertile or not be able to have anymore children. could this be because of the opperation?

Even if she had her first period, ovulation is really off in the first year after having a child. most women can not get pregnant during the first 3 postpartum months. and if she's breastfeeding it makes it much more difficult to get pregnant. i wonder though, does she want to be pregnant? i mean, most doctors tell you not to have sex until you are 6 weeks postpartum and after your first baby sex is quite painful for a while so i wonder why she is having that much sex.

well it's not because of the c section, there are 4 kids in my family and we were all c-section delivered.
although shes had a period again her body might still need a bit more time to settle down and get back to normal. she's still recovering from her op. although i fell pregnant when my son was about 9 weeks old, (he's now 7 months, and im 5 months preg), everyone is different, it happens to alot of people, if she's trying to get pregnant she really should wait a bit longer, trust me! but if she's worried she could see her doctor, only a test will tell her unless she falls pregnant.

Your body has to heal after having a baby bcuz everything is streatched out of place and doctors recommend at least a year or two to try and have children again.

nothing to do with the opperation, just that the body is not ready for another baby almost immediately after one. go see a doctor.

The body will only get pregnant when it's ready to get pregnant, her body is probably not ready. She should wait anyway, they say it takes your body a year to recover from the trauma of pregnancy and labor.

Your friends body needs time to heal and get strong again. Sometimes it takes a few months to get back in a ovulation pattern. It is good to have a few cycles to get normal again. It takes time, just be patient and wait. Good Luck.

it can take a few months after pregnancy before you get pregnant again - it takes time - after a c section most doctors reccomend she wait several weeks - her uterus needs to heal from the operation before it has to stretch again for the next pregnancy!!!

Doubtful If she just had a C-section. You have to hit it just at the right time. And it's usually when your're not trying.

i doubt it becuz my mom and her brother are 11 months apart and my grams had a c-section but if she is really worried then go and check it out w/ a doctor

she just had a child seven weeks ago?? why is she even concerning herself with being pregnant? she has a newborn!
