running 5 times/week if you can for two months straight.

Just run for 30 minutes and if you can't wait two months to lose weight increase that by an hour run for 5 days a week. Keep sticking to what you eat, just cut back on sugars and drink as much as you eat.

Because you said you're fat around the stomach, just do some situps on a soft yoga mat or padded area around the house. 25-50 situps a day should get quick results. Start off doing 10-15 situps if you can't reach 25 the first day and just increase it every two days until you reach 25.

Take oatmeals. It has high fiber to make you feel full. It has no cholesterol. You just have to drink plenty of water with it. It's good also to clean your intestines. Do some walking or take 1 or 2 flights of stairs instead of taking the elevator all the way up to work. I think the best way to lose weight and keep it is if you can keep the "weight losing" activities and food into your daily life without much disruption of your habits and preferences. I know 4 people who have lost 10 to 20 lbs in 2 months eating oats with low fat milk. Tastes good and yet healthy!

Watch what you eat. Don't eat calorie-high foods and don't snack inbetween meals. Also drinking water is a good thing!

You should also try to do at least 30 minutes of cardio 3 times a week. Along with some crunchs which are really helpfull!

Try drinking and eating low fat, and fat free beverages and foods. Like diet cokes, low fat cream cheese, low fat jello/pudding. As well, lay of chips and chocolate for a while. Have a subsitute as a baked potatoe for french fries. Have evening jogs as well. That's when you are fully-digested and you can burn lots of the fat!
Good luck!

Cabbage soup diet/South beach diet... works for me. I would also suggest regular exercise for the abs with the diet. I was a size 8-10, now a size 5. Also have problems with my ab, but with abs workouts, (I really worked hard on mine, 100 sit-ups and 100 crunches)managed to maintain it for 2 years now.

Do crunches, because since you said you are not overweight but you have fat in the middle. And the best to do is crunches like I said, because it mainly targets the middle area, and it works.

It's funny, but start by increasing your water intake. Water flushes your system and helps hydrate you. Increase your exercise -- 20 minutes 4-5X/week. Watch carbs.
