i agree with the first person who answered, it sounds more like a statement, but it's still true. If you hold a grudge against everyone and never forgive them, you won't be able to love. Like 6 months ago when me and my bf were going out (well we're still going out but yea) and he was trying to hook up with me best friend. I was deeply hurt, but I forgave him.

Well sure, but if you can channel all your hatred to just one person then it is hard to hate anyone else and therefore easier to love.
For many years I channeled hatred to one man that did something horrendous and therefore could not really hate anyone else.
