You are only three months pregnant its fine... from time to time you may get tired, take a break... if the doctor gives you the go ahead to work, after your check up, you are good to work...

So many women nowadays work right up until its time to give birth...

And congratulations....

walking around is not bad for your baby but it is bad for your feet, your feet is getting swollen and bigger as we speak and they will hurt you, you can soak your feet nightly and have someone rub them to make them feel better. you are also going to have back problems ,not now ,but in about three more months, maybe if you are a cash register you can ask your boss if you can sit on a chair or a stool, so you can change positions. stand up for a while and then sit for a while, when you do this rotate your ankles and swing your legs, get some movment in your legs os they wont stiffin, good luck, walking never killed anyone.

When I had my first baby I was working at wal-mart too. Everything went fine. Later on in the pregnancy you may want to see if you are able to do lighter duty things. It will be uncomfortable, but not impossible. Invest in a good pair of support hose for your legs though, standing so long when pregnant can give you vericose veins.

no, its not bad for the baby, just can cause a lot of pressure on ur back and feet, causing them to get sore quite often. i myself work in a grocery store and am on my feet all day. my doctor says that it's fine as long as i take a break when i need it and put my feet up when i get a chance. good luck and congrats.

Best person to ask is your DR. But at 3 months I wouldnt worry too much. If you start having cramps or pain call him/her and talk about it. Or talk to your supervisor and see if you can get some modified duties for a while. Where you sit for more of your day. Like in customer service and you can get a stool or something.

Nope not for the baby. However, once you get larger and farther along it could cause vericose veins and stuff. It may actually keep you more fit and in shape. It's better than sitting on the couch and getting fat. Congrats on ur pregnancy though.

Walking GREAT!
Lifting heavy stuff BAD!

Even though you might not have the bulge, you actually have more chance of loosing the baby in the first trimester.
(lots of times it just a natural process because there is something fundamentally wrong)

I waited tables until 2 weeks before I had my first. It is fine, in fact very soothing for the baby. And a bonus for you... you will likely loose the weight easier from keeping active while prego

No. I'm 44, and 6 months ago had my 4th child. I worked retail while I was pregnant with all four, and worked up until a day before each was born.
