my friend had a c section 7 weeks ago. she has had sex around 16 times since then and alkmost all times her man has ejaculated inside her (stupid, i know) shje took 2 pregnancy tests yesterday just to check and thought for sure shed be pregnant but they both turned out negative. plkus she got her first period. how is this even possible!!! when they go pregnant the first time they even had unprotected sex!!!

sorry i guess i didnt make my question very clear, she is worried because they have had sex so much without getting pregnant that she may be infertile or not be able to have anymore children. could this be because of the opperation?

I am not sure what your question is, but if you want to know if you can get pregnant after a c-section, yes you can. Is it safe? In most cases yes. Should she have her period 7 weeks after a c-section? That seems unlikely, most women have lochia, bleeding after birth for about 6 weeks post partum and their periods don't return for a month or so after that if they are not breastfeeding, later if they are breastfeeding.

Sounds like she's desperate for a big family! It probably wasn't the best idea to have so much sex so fast after a C-section. It's not safe for her, as if she was having sex before the doc said it's OK should could have done some serious damage to her uterus which is still healing after major surgery. Not to mention risk of infection of the healing wounds inside and out and to her cervix. You should probably tell her to chill for a few weeks and get checked out by her doc, just to be sure all is OK inside AND that she's not pregnant again.

I just don't understand why anyone would want to be touched so soon after having a baby. My doctor said its easier to get pregnant right after you have a baby then any other time. I also had my period the first 5 months of my second pregnancy. I just had my 3rd baby(first girl) and I don't even want my man to touch my leg cause I'll get pregnant. Pregnancy tests aren't always right, she needs a pregnancy blood test.

I don't think that this is a sign of infertility....she just needs to wait until her cycle is a little bit more regular before she has better chances of falling pregnant. The c-section operation should not have affected her fertility.

Tell your friend she is being stupid as you should not get pregnant after a C section for around 12 months after the last one. and seriously she should just enjoy the other baby as they grow up so fast.

It is very possible for her to get pregnant and it's okay for her to have sex if it don't hurt I did after about 2 or 3 weeks of having my daughter, but I was on birth control then. It is easier for you to get pregnant right after having a baby. You need to tell her to calm down, or get on birth control or something. good luck
