Most people understand America is behaving responsibly in the world and don't hate America...it just seems that way because those that do hate America are being loud about it.

There are still alot of countries out there who do not hate the U.S. We have so many illegal immigrants, because these people have a better chance at finding a job here, then in their home turf. The dollar is also worth a lot more than the currency in the developing countries, where alot of the illegal immigrants comes from, so if they send some money back to their family, it goes a long way, as opposed to if they just made money there.

It's not hatred of America and Americans, it'S the reality of being able to find work to take care of their families. The true Americans are the ones who were here before the Europeans claimed the discovery of American, which is another story all on it's own. Remember, the US is considered the "land of opportunity" to so many people who are struggling in their countries. The politicians, including politicians in other countries, started the movement of ILLEGALS coming into this country and they have allowed it to get our of hand and now, we the citizens of this country can't do anything about it, no matter how many times we go to the polls to vote yea or nay when it comes the rights of Illegals. Throughtout history the politicians have always wanted some poor soul to work for little wages to cook, clean, raise their children, pick their food, do their washing. Even though there are a lot of Illegals here, a lot of them send money back to their country, whether their families are poor or not. I think some of us Americans hate the fact that Illegals are continuing to come to our country and we don't like it. If the politician had stop trying to force our views and use our money as an influence to entice them, maybe there wouldn't be so many here and not so many wanting to come here. The politicans opend to pathway for them and now they are struggling to come up with ways to get rid of them. IT WAS POLITICAL GREED THAT MADE THEM COME.....TOO LATE TO STOP THEM NOW. I wish we can all live and work together as one because we, regardless of our culture, can learn from each other, but, the politicians continue the hatred to grow. If you can change the view of one person, then you view can affect many.

Uh, speaking as a non American, I can quite assure you that we don't spend our time around the world counting the ways we hate you and your country.
In fact, most people love America, especially the ideals espoused in the US constitution.
(American tourists are a slightly different story and it usually has something to do with tact but that's another answer in entirety).
However most of the world kinda disagrees with US government policy (and this wasn't the same when Clinton was President), especially foreign policy. In fact, we kinda feel it incompatible with the American notion of democracy that the US can do what it wants regardless of what world opinion. But the thing is that it is your policies which we disagree with, not your system of government and not your people. It is possible to disagree with someone very passionately and not hate that individual.
As for the illegal immigrants, well, the answer there is simple: There are jobs for them in America (or they believe this to be true). There aren't as good jobs where they happen to live currently. Since there is this thing called the American Dream, well, if you are poor and starving in Guatemala, and have no hopes in your village but the chance of one in the US, would you not take it?
Politics has nothing to do with this. Eating does.

Money!! I'm amazed how many Americans are too stupid to figure that simple fact out. Poor people come here for the money. NOTICE, you don't see French or German or Norwegian or Swedish or English people immigrating here. Why? They've already got money! Also, all of those countries, especially the French, Germans and English all have their own massive immigration problems. It's not about people "loving" or "hating" America. It's about poor people going where the money is.

if you think about it, who are the people who hate americans and who are the people who illegally immegrate. the majority of illegal immegrants are generally people who are so poor they can barely put food on the table for their familys and have no other options than to come here. the reasons why some one might dislike us, we are rude, arrogant, and stupid people who could care less weither or not the person down the road died or not, as long as it's not you or your family member, am i not right?!

I'm immigrant - LEGAL and I know that only arabs hate America. Besides most of the immigrants are fromthe poorest countries, they come here cause they need to support their families what is impossible to do in their countries. You will never see here immigrant from England or France washing the dishes. Once again, nobody hates America buy Arabic countries.

Because these illegal immigrants don't hate America like these other people do, that's why they want to be here. And for those people who hate America, would they want to be here??

i agree with "derkaiser93" America and Americans are not the problem. government policy is. lots of Canadians that make it big move to the u.s. not so much for or because we are wanting to take anybodies job. but, because of economic opportunity. personally i would not want to leave my beloved Canada. visiting would be nice though, and i have visited and loved everything, everyone and America itself. however i am always glad to come home to Canuck land.

Your first statement is incorrect. Not true the "most other countries" hate us.
immigrants want a better life, and it's achievable in the U.S.
