i can see the antispy icon click but thats all

You can try this software if you computer is infected with any of spyware and virus . I am also using this software, I am happy with it. You can download and it is certainly free for scan also update.

this is a common problem,yahoo anti-spy icon is in the yahoo toolbar by default ,but that dosent mean the program is ,what you need to do is go to http://uk.toolbar.yahoo.com/,and either download the yahoo toolbar.exe into your hard drive and manually install it ,or click the link which indicates the 4.3 mb yahoo toolbar(this contains yahoo anti-spy)
if you are using sp2 ,you wont be able to do the 2nd option and you must download it and install it yourself
bear in mind,yahoo anti-spy is pretty dredfull at detecting spyware and should not be used as a front line of defence against spyware,use spybot instead avalible from http://www.safer-networking.org/,this is a reliable spyware scanner and also protects you from any future spyware attack
