OMG i wanna know the answer to that too! I hear Paris did something... not nicole.. :/ oh well.. I dont understand why they wont say why! we know everything about their lives anyway!

Nicole said its because she came out of rehab and she wanted to stop with all the partying and act her age so she decided Paris Hilton was a bad influence and stop being friends. Paris Hilton said on the simple life that People changed (talking bout Nicole) so I guess that was it.

Paris made Nicole look lik a sidekick an Nicole didn't lik dis idea when the press cept insluting her wth it. Nicole an Paris been friends since they were lil but now Nicole doesn't lik her.

nicole: she says she's grown out of the "be friends with famous people" mode and she now cares more about hanging out with the "right " friends who don't have a bad influence on her
paris: she says that after the simple life nicole became more popular and started changing...while she stayed the same. Also because on the show nicole seemed more "fun..funnier...more energetic"

I heard it was because nicole grew jealous of Paris because she was getting more fame than her and when tabloids did talk about Nicole they would only talk about how she dressed and her messy different colored hair and such thats why shes changed so much she even lost tons of weight.

the latest is their best friends again by vh1 celeb watch. it was originally that they both were after and playing with the same guy. the guy she made the tape with is the one who put it on the net to gain more status for himself, but it backfired and paris got all the attention and she's using it to her advantage.

Paris is clueless and That other chik is ditsy ! They don't get along because they are jealous because one chik has more than the other and one thinks they are hotter or something ! I bet you its that or they just been friends too long !
