I was driving on the expressway home. My car started vibrating quite badly. I stopped to try to put air in the tires, but I couldn't inflate all of them, especially my passenger front tire. So, I head home, my car is vibrating. Next thing I know, the tread comes off!! It's bald. My tire isn't flat, but it's bald. Why????

Your tire may have had dry rot. Depends on the age and condition. Sounds like a defective tire....but if it's 10 years old....I'd say it was just rotted out. If it's within 2 years since it was new...I'd take it right to the shop and see if the factory will warrantee. Good luck.

Its a very bad retread, this is dangerous and should be reported, retreads are slowly being phased out in australia because of this reason and they should never be put on the front of the car.

tire had seperated tread. have all tires checked for same condition. when trad seperates, air gets between layers of rubber causing a bubble, hence the bouncing.

ALRIGHT, i confess, I stole it. It's just that my car really needed a tread, and I saw yours just rolling down the highway, looking bored, so I opened my door slightly, reached out with my knife and took it off.
