I just can't understand how can that happen. He travels mostly in the northeast and southeast, rarely in central or western US. It's weird coz some weeks i can talk to him and then spend weeks not being able to contact him although he's driving thru the same states. Are these two carriers that bad?

Being a woman trucker i have seen all kinds out here. But i have Sprint and Nextel a buddy has Verizon and Nextel we travel everywhere and his Verizon never looses service. If you are questioning his carrier. Go to the website you will find a service area map showing coverage area.
But if your questioning him about telling the truth.that's your call but i learned along time ago you need to trust your trucker out on the road until he proves you wrong..

I know two people who truck drive and while its true on the road you can have hour long dead spots I don't see it lasting for days on end hes not in the Antarctic so even if there isn't signal all the time there should be some a vast majority of the time

Your bf is a cheater, probably living a double life, if not married. Even when he is around u, he takes calls in private and ignores phone calls after he checks the Caller ID. You have never met his parents, nor does any of his close friends call your house looking for him. Please wake up and smell the coffee. You are sharing a man.

Good excuse to not answer the phone. Verizon is almost all over except when the reception between cities go down, same as any other company.

If I had to venture a guess it is probably because he doesn't want to talk to you. I could be wrong though. Just because he is in the same state that he talked to you in once before doesn't mean he is in the same area, or he could be smoking meth and too busy to answer his phone.

It could be the area he is in may not have towers. However, my brother was in Alaska and he sounded like he was next door (Celluar One, $40 plan).
