I am 13 and my room is still faires and carebears! i need a room makeover. Do you have any suggestions or any websites with ideas? Please! Thanxs!

Paint your room- a nutral colour, or like yellow; but not purple or any typical girl colour.
Change you curtains- to go with thw new paint of course! It will complement your room and make it all tie together.
Get rid (or hide) all your soft toys/dolls- you can keep a couple of small ones if you want and put them on your shelf, but not on your bed.
A good start into making your room not so childish is to get cool/ fresh bedsheets. Again try not to go with pink/purple etc. Cool playful patterns like spots are fun too.
Deccorate your room by placing current photos of your freinds in photoframes/ pinboard or something similar.
That should start you off! Eventually things will fall it to place, you will collect things over the years, things will be given to you and you will keep on adding until its perfect! Hope that helped. Happy make-over!

You can get discounted paint at a paint store. They some time mix to much so they sell the extra discounted. get a new comforter, you don't need new sheets, that is exta money. Icing has cheap room decorations. Watch trading spaces they have to do every thing on a budget. Got to good will or salvation army you can get good stuff cheap there.

You could try PBteen (pottery barn teen) but its kinda expensive. Bombay kids is also cool, but maybe a little too childish. For bedding and stuff try JCpenny.They have cool bedding and room accesories there. IKEA is a good place to buy modern and affordable furniture. Anyways, good luck!

depends on your Budget and creativity, if you are really going to do it this summer than check 3 thing out,
HGTV channel, if you do not have cable than go to local library to pick up some books.
Go to thrift strore, Do not be embraass to go in there beace sometimes you find things in it for not only chep but you can change it aroud by coloring it and that way you really get involve in the project.

pottery barn teen has sum really cute ideas and theyre expensive in the catologue but u can find similar items at target or many other stores!! GOOD LUCK
