Deadhead the Daisy's spent blooms to side shoots to keep it blooming almost all summer.
Cut spent stems down 2 to 3 inches for smaller rebloom.

For the Bee Balm; cutting back once or twice before flowering creates a more compact growth and a delayed flowering.

The Astilbe will not rebloom, so leave seedheads standing for late season interest or
when they look ratty, cut them down to the ground.

Deadheading is the best way of all. Just go out and snip off old blossoms. The plant thinks it hasn't done its reproductive duty and tries to keep blooming. Plus keep it fertilized and watered correctly.
