You're not supposed to match your makeup with your outfit. I would say that a purple toned eye-shadow should probably bring out your eyes, but using black mascera to thicken your eyelashes will make your eyes pop more than eyeshadow would.

Good luck!

I have green eyes and deffinetly a dark purple on the lid and a brighter shimmer color on the brow bone really brings them out

I find that a lavender eyeshadow compliments green eyes and helps to accent and show their color. However, sometimes lavender will not go with certain color clothes. When in doubt, wear a nice neutral (natural) tone eyeshadow. You can't go wrong with the natural shade.

I love neutral colors on people with green eyes....metallic bronze, gold, silver, or shades of brown, tan, or olive
