Todays cars are better, faster, more powerful, more comfortable, more reliable, and all around simply better than any muscle car ever produced. However today's cars are so damned boring it's not funny! I hate newer cars. Cars of the 50's and 60's have something that todays cars will NEVER have...and that is soul. I have two Chevy Novas...a '63 SS and a '67 SS. I drive the '63 to work...to the grocery store...and it's a restored trophy winner! I will never let these two cars go. I'll be buried with them. No import, no FWD 4 banger POS will ever match the style, good looks, and just plain fun factor that owning and driving a muscle car will do. It's 2006...and people still lust after the '66 Chevy Malibu SS 396...40 years later. Does anyone really believe that in the year 2046 some guy will lovingly restore his 2006 Honda Accord? Congrats on your Nova. And keep the muscle cars alive!!!

Oh yes! I have a 1968 Olds Cutlass S Ragtop with a 350 Rocket, rochester carb. Just pulled her out of storage and she started on the first shot. They are just so sweet.
If your Nova is stock, you may want to consider a removable stereo system. I did so as not to mess up the original dash confiiguration which still has the original AM/FM radio which works.

How could you not? The sound of the V8 rumbling, the roar of the exhaust, the shear power you of a muscle car is enough to make my heart race. I don't know what people see in imports, small, underpowered pieces of plastic, you have to put so much money in mods in ricers to get enough power. Muscle cars have all their power right there in the engine block. Forget cold air intakes and turbos, give me a 427 big block anyday.

I love muscle cars as well as hot rods and old school customs. I drive a 3rd generation muscle car, a 1986 IROC/Z28 Camaro. Try Vintage Air for air conditioners and Pioneer or Sony should have affordible sound systems.
