if you dont open a text message then does the phone company charge you anyway?

i always get text messages from advertisements and i dont open them, but does it still cost money to recieve them even if you dotn read them?

you will charged as far as the message was delievered to your phone, it doesn't matter whether you read them or not

If you dont send or reseve any text messages in cingular then you will not be billed to keep that from happioning you should call the help line and ask for them to make it where you cant reseve and you will not be charged
