For Michael Bolton, obviously it's Nicolette Sheridan that is helping him. Didn't he get his hair cut? I'm sure that helped too.
BTW, when I was in high school, he was at grad night at Disney if I'm not mistaken. Poor guy, was singing "Sitting on the Dock of the Bay" to no one but Beaker and me passing by. I think he was out in Frontierland, by his lonesome, while half the 'World' (hee hee, I originally didn't mean it that way, but it fits) was down jamming to "Walk this Way" with RunDMC.
