We're having family and friends stop by in kind of an open house event. We've cooked up a huge brisket and have lots of finger foods. Everyone who stops by has to sign our huge wall poster about "Why America Rocks." The kids are enjoying doing wall art for the poster, and it creates a memory for us to see where we were at this time each year. We save, them and drag out the old ones year after year. We always end up with things people are thankful for that we are free to enjoy in this great country. We'll watch "Independence Day," play board games, and end up with watching the fireworks over the capital. No fireworks are allowed here because of the draught, so the nation's fireworks will have to do. :)

We stay out all day and nighttime till the fireworks and do slightly eating haha. when you consider that he has small young ones, i does no longer recommend that lol. Sleeping in is good... if you can... I still have to work.
Have a few friends over, do some grilling, relax and enjoy the day. Otherwise you can have a picnic with your family/kids/etc.
Watch a parade... the point of the day is to relax :-)
