energy drinks are a good idea...if im not having a cup of coffee then im having an energy drink...make sure you eat a little something in the mornings because the carbs in whatever youre eating are going to give you energy you need. try starting to exercise as well, it may sound strange but exercise actually gives you more energy. i know how you feel though, as a college student im always trying to keep myself awake...

Have you seen a doctor? If you are getting 6-9 hours of good sleep a night, then you shouldn't be so drowsy during the day. I also have this problem, but have medical issues that are the cause. If you continue to suffer from fatigue, you just might want to have it checked out by your primary care physician. Good luck.

In general caffeine is a decent cerbral stimulator but your problem may not have much to do with needing a stimulant.
If I were in consultation with you the questions how tall are you, what is your age, and how much do you weigh are what I'd start with.
In conjunction with the above questions I'd also want to know about you dietary habits. Many, many people (around 70%) of those I consult with have dietary issues that cause drops in blood sugar several times during the day. This definitely leads to drowsiness.
If you'd like to discuss this further feel free to email me.

Regular exercise. Also, maybe try taking 25 mg of Benadryl before you go to bed, if you have time for about 8 hours of sleep. It makes for more restful sleep. If that doesn't work, think about doing a sleep evaluation. You may have apnea or some other thing that prevents you from really resting while you sleep.

Excercise in the morning at least 1/2 hour & not eating at least 2 hours before you go to bed will completely aleviate this problem. If it persists you could be sick and have to see a doctor, lack of energy is a symptom of mononucleosis, anemia, & many other illnesses.

You may need to see a Dr. concerning this issue because it can be serious. A few months ago, I found myself in a similar situation. I started walking and no longer do I have a constant tired feeling. But everyone body is different so see a Dr. for more information.

Try eating first thing in the morning and stay away from sugary foods because you will burn out quickly.
Try apples for breakfast. The acids supposedly work better than coffee.

Before I learned to like coffee, I drank cola in the morning. You can get the same benefit that you get from drinking coffee

I had this problem so I went and got a sleep study preformed and I had sleep apnea caused from a deviated septum. Did you break your nose as a child? I got a fairly simple surgery and now I'm doing great!!!
