Joanie Loves Chachi...that began the end. But when Fonzie 'jumped the shark', a new catchphrase was born.

Still, Happy Days was TV at it's finest, unlike the sad/foppy crap churning out today.

There'll never be another Aaron Spelling....take care on your Heavenly flight and may God bless!!!

i think it started going down hill in season 4 when all the other characters became a supporting cast to the fonz (although there are some classics episodes in that season). before, happy days was an ensemble show revolving around ritchie cunningham. oh, and even though it was the same story-arc when the fonz jumped the shark, the first episode introduced chachi. THAT was the beginning of the end.
