I think that was the name of the show. Was this a sexualy filled show? When i was young i was at a youth camp, and someone told me that since i liked some girl there, to go play BJ and the bear with her. I am curious why is it some councilor who over heard this didnt like that idea (caused some problems for all 3 of us).

No, the show was not sexually filled. I believe the counselor caused problem with you 3 because the term "BJ" was commonly known in the 1980's for bl0w j0b and being an adult -- read into what the kid at your youth camp was saying to you. In other words, your friend was telling you to go get some oral sex from the girl you had a crush on.

Yes. BJ and the Bear was a sexual show. It was about some dude who drove around the country in a truck while he played with his monkey. Pretty sordid stuff, especially the scenes at the truck stops. Anyways, I can see why the councilors were mad.

No, there was nothing sexy about the show. BJ was an trucker with a pet chimp who drove around the country doing good deeds. This was all at the height of the CB radio craze+the Clint Eastwood with a monkey movies, that had to be why they came up that.
