I just started my period and I want to talk to my mom about it, but I don't want my sister or dad to hear us, any suggestions.

Just to let you know....
Your dad will likely find out not long after your mother does. She won't keep it secret. And unless you do your own laundry and shopping (i.e.feminine products), your mom will find out soon enough.
But don't worry. Every guy knows that women have periods and it is a normal function of growing up. And if it is a younger sister you can help her along. If it is an older sister, she has gone through what you are going through now.

Take mom somewhere where you feel conforable to talk to you mom when no one around like Park, set up plan just you and your mom. becasue I totally understand how hard to tell you mom, Your mom really want you to tell her becasue she want to make sure you know and best way to use and safe. Many girls never tell their mom and some time girls get very very sick or die. so pls do it soon before you get yourself more sick.

give her a hint.throw some pads in the cart when you are shopping together.or write a note.or send her an email.or you can talk with her when the rest of the family isnt around.
