Whats the shortest mini you would wear... Shortest I've got is total lenght 11.5inches and it reaches 10.5 inches above my knees... my BF says its too short...

it actually depends on how long your legs are, the longer your legs the longer you want the skirt because more of your body will be exposed. just for reference, if you have on a skirt and you put your arms down and the skirt is shorter than where your wrists are, than its wayyy too short, regardless of your leg length. you don't want to appear slutty, despite how nice you are, having a short skirt makes people think "skank", i do.

Here's the rules for mini skirts:
If you're age:
20 and above- above the knee
30 and above - at the knee
40 and above - pass the knees
If you're in your 20s, it all depends on what kind of skirt you're looking into getting yourself into. But remember, mini skirts are style - doesn't make you look "slutty" or whatever, just sexy. :) So if you don't want all the sexy attention, add some length to your skirt. Good luck!

yeah thats pretty short the shortest one i have is like 8 inches above my knee...but i have short legs so it compensates....you could wear tights underneath the mini so it's not to revealing...:/

I'm not sure exactly how short my shortest is.... but it's pretty short. I always say that if you got the body to wear it, then wear it! As long as your butt isn't hanging out then you're okay.

Or a new skirt. If your lips touch the seat when you sit down, it's too short.

If you can see your butt when you bend part way over, it is too short. Unless you are starring in a porn movie, you don't need to advertise that much. Be a lady.

I love long skirts. My bf likes the short ones. So my closet is crammed w/ 1/2 and 1/2.

You may want to look into the possibility that your boyfriend is not heterosexual. There is no such thing as too short.
