By plane, contact your nearest US embassy or consulate to find out about the requirements for travel, and any restrictions that may apply. Good luck.

You cannot go directly to Cuba from the United States unless you are on a charity mission. There are some groups that go but you have to be involved with them and get approval from the state department. There also may be some study groups, but you cannot go on your own. If you are not a U.S. citizen or you have another passport like Canada, then you can leave from there. Of course if you are Muslim and captured by the U.S. then you can get a free trip to Guantonoma Bay, Cuba.

If you are part of a religious party you can apply in the US. If you just want to go you must leave away from the US. I have heard that Americans go to Mexico, either from Mexico City or Guadalajara and get the proper Visa etc from a travel agency in Mexico. Since you do need a Visa to go to Cuba and a Mexican travel agent can help you in Mexico.

particular, you are able to commute to Cuba, yet there are a number of regulations because of the U. S. embargo. you should regulate to the OFAC policies and get a license from OFAC. maximum OFAC licenses are granted for humanitarian, relatives or religious motives. some specialists like reporters and photographers may additionally get a enable for professional motives. yet vacationer visits or trip trips are excluded from the "record allowed travellers to Cuba". word that better than a hundred,000 US voters have traveled unlawful to Cuba by using Cancun (Mexico) or Toronto (Canada) There are no longer any often happening flights between Cuba and the U. S. , yet there are a number of commute companies that manage "shape flights for those with an OFAC license".

Fly to Toronto, fly direct from Toronto to Cuba, fly from Cuba to Toronto, fly from Toronto to USA. Get separate tickets - return USA to Toronto, then in Canada get return Toronto to Cuba.

Have a great time - it's great down there! Don't believe a word of what you are brainwashed about in the USA! Now Mexico - that's more dangerous and trashier!

By the way, Delilah Alvarez, you have used the same words in every one of your answers - do you not have any new, original thoughts?

There are lots of charter flights to Cuba from Canada. All-inclusives are pretty cheap from Toronto.

For last minute vacation packages, you can try:

Cuban customs stamps a separate piece of paper rather than your passport. Also, you may want to look at bringing Euros or Canadian dollars since there is a fee to convert US dollars now in Cuba.

Enjoy you're trip.

As far as I am aware, this is illegal, but I have heard of US citizens flying to Cuba via other countries such as Canada and Mexico.

I was in Cuba on vacation last year (I am from the UK) and they didn't stamp my passport so if you do go via another country it probably won't show on your passport.

Do you know that you are supporting an evil empire by visiting Cuba? Do you realize the harm your vacation does to the world? How you are feeding communism? Do you sleep well at night? There are plenty of other great islands to visit..try Jamaica, the US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, etc. Act responsibly!
