"The Pistons have offered a four-year deal worth approximately $48 million to keep their defensive-minded center in Detroit. And the Chicago Bulls, who sent coach Scott Skiles and vice president of basketball operations John Paxson to Detroit, have started bidding at closer to $52 million for four seasons."

100% agree with u my friend. The NBA is all business, and its not like the glory days where NBA titles where above the $. Wallace has his ring, and he wants his final contract of his career to be big, and he WILL go to chicago.

"Ben Wallace has been the face of the Detroit Pistons the last five years. No more," writes Chad Ford of ESPN INSIDER. "A league source told ESPN.com Monday night that Wallace has told the Pistons he has accepted an offer from the Chicago Bulls. While exact details are unavailable, the offer is thought to be a four-year, $52 million dollar deal. A deal can't become official until July 12, when the salary cap is set for the 2006-07 season and exact contract values can be computed."

Ben Wallace is getting Old. He's about 32 or 33. I think he should stay with Detroit and stay with a dominant team not with a rebuilding one. But Money makes the world go round so He will go to Chicago but I think it is a bad move for Chicago.
