My sister is 27 going on 28 this yr and she is dating a co-worker/ friend's son that is 21 yrs old she really likes him and wants to continue there relationship but does not know what to do? he is the one that approched her in the first place should she stay w/ him or leave him b4 his mom finds out? Would you get mad if someone dated your son and he was in this same situation?

he is 21and very legal just come out to the mother if she not happy she will have to deal with it

21 & 28 or not that far apart. As long as he's over eighteen his mom can't say anything!!! if it was like 18 & 45 maybe that would be weird! But 21 & 28 is NOT A PROBLEM at all! His mom should be happy that he found someone nice! (if she is)

I think it's kind of complicated but if these two really want to be with each other, they should go ahead and stay together. The mom will have to eventually accept it. If I were in the same situation, I wouldn't get mad that my son is pursuing his happiness, concerned, yes but mad, no.

He's 21 years old and able to make his own decisions. I'm not seeing what the big deal is. Why not just be honest and up front with the friend/co-worker?

if my son was of age there's nothing i could do he's an adult and i think i would be hurt but i would get over it . i think life is too short so do what makes u happy (specially if u are not hurting anyone).

This has nothing to do with anybody except your sister and her man. They are both adults, and the rest of you should mind your own business.

what the heck does the mom have to do with it? is he still living at home? the age difference does not matter at all, as long as they are happy!
