It all depends where you are.
In some countries it is fashionable to
kill useless lifes. It becomes very
fashionable and profitable.
In the rest of the world it is a
natural occurrence. People die without

Fashionable? Not at all. Death and funerals are a part of life. As part of being human we honor and respect those who came before us. From the time of the Homo Erectus, when they buried their dead in caves with flowers, tools and bits of decorative bone jewelry, to the modern era, funerals have always appeared to be spectacles for the event rather than the actual passing of a loved one. It costs thousands of dollars just to see Uncle Joe be placed in a coffin that looks more comfortable than our own beds, flowers arranged all around him and finally to lay him below the earth. True, it may seem fashionable, that one must have the latest, more trendy thing just to pass on peacefully, but I believe that there is more to this than simple fashion. In nearly all cultures there is some subtle feeling that our ancestors know how they were laid to rest and that they check up on us from time to time. I certainly wouldn't want to disrespect the memory of my grandma by having a mundane funeral.

It could be. People want to wear the right outfit and have their hair done just so. And then they may go to eat at a nice place or invite people to their homes. (the survivors, not the dead ones.) Even in death the rich get more attention., bigger obituaries and more mourners.

Death is the new forty. But it'll be out of style by next spring... so too bad for people who get caught up in fads this fall.

lol, I don't know if that was suppose to be funny, but I found it a riot. Anyway, I don't think so, to me it's an easy out for anyone who can't take the heat of living.
