My mother once told me I am vaguely related to US President Grant. She hates her family and never talks about them apart from very occassional comments like that. But as far as I know I am related to him.

i'm distantly related on one side to a fairly famous female singer from the 80's and can't tell you her name.
i had a grandfather who was italian from venice, and his grandfather shared a mistress along with mussolini.
also their is a family connection with a well known dress designer in london, again i can't name him.
