If they're not blaming C. Ronaldo they are blaming the refs or saying that it was LUCK that Ricardo saved those PK's. Now the whole nation is hating C. Ronaldo and saying that he shouldn't go back to MANU or his *** will get kicked. C'mon! Get over it. Game Over. England lost! Big deal! How many times has Portugal gone off EARLY in the world cup? England must like what Scolari is doing with the Portuguese team or they would not have offered him a job, which in turned down in April. Oh! I have seen the light! That is why the English are now hating the Portuguese.

I am an England fan still smarting from the defeat and I can tell you this: we have only ourselves to blame.
Eriksson+McLaren+some players
Eriksson, for stubbornly sticking with a failing formation (4-1-4-1) and not training his players well enough for penalties
McLaren, ditto
Some players (you know who), those who couldn't keep a cool head and score a simple penalty
And last but not least Rooney, that immature hulk of a player, who couldn't bottle his temper for a few seconds and possibly cost his team the match.

I agree English should get over the fact that their NT sucked again, but I don't agree English footballing community should keep promoting and paying hell lot of money to the cheating ******* C. Renaldo. Man United has all rights to fire him for unsportsmanlike behave and let him find more suitable club like Boavishta or Sporting Braga may be.
After all if English football is so bad and if Portugal league is do superb why such supertalent like Christianu Ronaldu tortures himself by splaying for Manchester and wasting English peoples money. He can go back and join great Portuguese league with all the wonderful issues like fun's from all over Portugal being told by the government to support either Benfica or Portu..Etc
And if this guy will be bold enough to shouw up in Manchester as if nothing had happened.. Well is asking for it,is not it?

Portuguese are dirty players and win by cheating...England and Portuguese have a history that is only excelling as the years go by...The "gift" that is what penalties are a Gift...I am getting tired of people going on about the same stuff..cheating..ref;, etc... they are missing the point, why some of these problems occur and the resentment...Portugal won by penalties and they will play France which I believe France will beat them fair and square..Wink wink say no more...

YES ! I am !!! At first I was sympathetic to them for having lost... But now it stinks These guys are BAD losers even though they have had LOTS OF PRACTICE at losing whenever they play Portugal. Near here, when Portugal beat the hell out of them on those SUPERBLY TAKEN AND SUPERBLY DEFENDED PENALTIES, jpeople started breaking beer glasses on the floor... all very civilized stuff !! For those even more jealous than this, we could win or lose against France but we still did better than you AS USUAL !! Ya know something ?? The French will have their asses kicked too in revenge for that SH_IT in Euro2000..
