He was camper than a day out to Millett's. As gay as the contents of a trannies handbag. He wasn't after the flower, more a back door kind of boy. No procreation for our Freddie, I'm afraid. He came out as gay the day before he died of AIDS, in 1991. Was and always will be a legend.

He was bisexual he has had a girlfriend called Mary Austin halfway seventies. She always stayed close to him, she only lived a block from Freddie's house. She came there almost everyday. Freddie was the godfather of her son.
And he has had a relationship with Barbara Valentin in Munich. In how far she was his girlfriend I don't know, but this can be read in the book named below.

Freddy Mercury never married as you read already he was gay. And he never had children which is a shame. I do remember he had a very close woman friend named Mary whom he loved very much but of course it was a purely platonic relationship though.

freddie mercury was AWESOME. i think that's a no/no. as someone said above he may have been gay or bi but personally there is nothing wrong with it i think as long as you don't go telling everyone...
