I am a Libra and I've studied many astrological traits on it.
The bad side to Libra, if you aren't one, is that they are so emotional. More Libras have emotional breakdowns and suffer depression than the other signs. More Libras are alcoholics also.
We are so hell-bent on keeping peace and seeking for a very emotionally sharing mate that we drive ourselves nuts.
These are the bad sides according to the research.
The good sides are much better so I hope you ask about that.
Nearly all of the other answers I read about being selfish and argumentative are SOOOO off base. Libras, representing balance and justice can't BEAR to constantly argue and are very quick to give others their way.

I'm libra so I can say this from experience.
Because "we" are the scales...........we want/need to have balance and harmony........fairness, peace etc.....
Life is not always that way --- and for me, as a true Libra --- when things are out of whack --- I'm out of whack !!
This probably makes it hard for others to be around me -- lol!
However, my intentions are for all to "work out"........my ways of trying to get this result might not always be the right way, or ...
Simply -- some things in life DON'T BALANCE, AND AREN'T FAIR.
(this is hard for a Libra to deal with)...........

I have never known a Libran to be faithful to their partners. And I know a looooot of Libras.

Image complexes. And the need to always look and act good in front of others even when thy are feeling like ****. They tend to be condescending as well, and want to be right all the time.
