If a Bradford Pear tree breaks off, will it grow back?

No it won't...I've got 2 in my yard and they look deformed because larger limbs have broken off. The problem with bradford pears is they get too top heavy the older they get. You can try to prune it but it will never catch up with the rest of the tree. Mine are 12 years old and I think they will have to come down.
